Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data MooncrestPress handles on this website and in our Pinterest app, MooncrestPress Pin Publisher. The short version: the app works only with our own Pinterest account and does not collect personal data from anyone else.
Who we are
MooncrestPress is a small online shop that designs illustrated posters and sells them through Etsy. You can reach us at hello@mooncrestpress.com.
What the Pinterest app does
MooncrestPress Pin Publisher is a private, internal tool. It is not available to the public, and nobody other than MooncrestPress can sign in to it. We use it to:
- publish our own poster images and short videos as Pins on our Pinterest account,
- create and manage our own boards and place Pins on them,
- add a title, description, alt text and a link to the matching Etsy listing to each Pin,
- read the statistics of our own Pins (such as impressions, saves and clicks).
Pinterest data the app accesses
| Permission | What we use it for |
|---|---|
user_accounts:read | Confirm that the app is connected to our own account. |
boards:read, boards:write | List, create and update our own boards. |
pins:read, pins:write | Create our own Pins and read their status and statistics. |
All of this data belongs to our own Pinterest account. The app does not access, store or process the profiles, boards, Pins, messages or activity of other Pinterest users. The statistics we read are aggregated numbers provided by Pinterest and do not identify individual people.
How we store and protect it
- The access token for our Pinterest account is kept on our own computer and is never published or shared.
- Pin statistics are kept in our internal planning workspace and used only to decide which designs to make next.
- We do not sell, rent or share Pinterest data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
- If we stop using the app, we revoke its access and delete the stored token.
This website
This website is a static information page. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking scripts, and has no forms or user accounts. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical server logs (such as IP address and time of request) to operate and secure the service.
Purchases
We do not sell anything on this website. Orders are placed on Etsy and fulfilled by our production partner Printful. Your order and payment data are handled under the Etsy Privacy Policy; we receive only what is needed to produce and ship your order.
Your rights
If you believe we hold personal data about you, you can ask us what it is and request that we correct or delete it. Write to hello@mooncrestpress.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If the way we use the Pinterest API changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
